19 Days, Zero Glasses: My Express Shipping Nightmare! 😤
I'm writing this to warn you about a truly terrible online shopping experience I've just had, in hopes you won't fall into the same trap. I ordered glasses on March 30th because my old ones broke and I desperately needed a new pair, so I paid for express shipping, expecting them in 3-5 days. But day 5 rolled around and they were still in production, then day 10, and now it's day 19, and I still have no glasses! This company is terrible; they don't seem to care about their customers at all, and they completely mislead you about delivery times. I felt compelled to call their customer service and then share my story here.
Customer: I need to know what's happening with my order, #12345. I paid for express shipping, 3-5 days, and it's been almost three weeks! My old glasses broke; I need these. CS Rep: I understand your frustration, sir. I see your order was placed on March 30th with express shipping. We apologize for the significant delay; this is certainly not our standard. Customer: "Not your standard"? I was told 3-5 days. On day 11, I called and got a shipping refund, but that doesn't help me see. When will I actually get my glasses? Are they even shipped? CS Rep: Let me check the latest update on your order. It shows your glasses have now completed production and are being prepared for shipment. You should receive tracking information within the next 24-48 hours, and delivery is estimated within the next 3-5 business days after that. Customer: So, another week? This is ridiculous. I've been without glasses for nearly 20 days because of this. You need to be more honest about your shipping times. CS Rep: We sincerely apologize again for the inconvenience and the miscommunication regarding the initial timeframe. We are doing our best to expedite this for you.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
