A Buyer's Warning: Trapped in a Customer Service Loop with No End in Sight 😤
I'm sharing my story as a warning to anyone considering this company. My frustration has reached a boiling point, and I feel completely ignored. To put it plainly: I ordered a set of prescription glasses and was advised the order would ship in 3 business days. 8 business days later they still haven’t shipped and it’s impossible to reach a live person. Their virtual chat gives the option after you track your order enough times to speak to a live chat representative but then circles you back to virtual chat. They also say on their site that you can reach someone by phone 7am-midnight however unless you’re placing an order, you will not get to speak to someone. I’ve never experienced customer service like this. To be completely inaccessible as it relates to a prescription is absurd. I would advise not doing business with this company. This unacceptable situation is why I felt compelled to keep trying until I finally got a representative on the phone, and why I must share this experience.
Customer: I finally got through. My order was supposed to ship in 3 days. It's been 8 business days and nothing. Your chat is a useless loop and the phone line is a joke. Where are my glasses?
CS Rep: I am so sorry to hear about the delay and the immense frustration you've experienced trying to reach us. That is certainly not the service we aim to provide. Could I please get your order number to check its status immediately?
Customer: It's [Order Number]. I just want to know what's going on. Being left in the dark about a prescription item is completely unacceptable.
CS Rep: Thank you. I see it here. It appears there was an unexpected delay in our lab. I sincerely apologize for the lack of communication. I can have the order expedited now, and it should ship within 24 hours. I'll also refund your shipping fee for the trouble.
Customer: Fine. Just get it sent. This whole experience has been a nightmare.
CS Rep: I completely understand. I've processed that refund and have escalated your order. You'll receive a confirmation email with new tracking information shortly. Again, I am very sorry for this.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
