I’m writing this to warn everyone about my awful experience trying to get a simple refund. It turned into a month-long battle that left me feeling completely scammed. GlassesUSA has still not sent my refund for an order I never received. $246.00 they have of my hard-earned money from a glasses order placed on 2/24. The tracking number still shows it stuck in Atlanta, Georgia. I can't get a response for a refund all they keep telling me is it is in transit from a BOT. I want my money back, GlassesUSA. After being stonewalled by automated messages, I felt I had no choice but to try and escalate this with a live person.
Customer: My order number is 105081183. It never arrived and I've been trying to get my $246 back for weeks. Your bots just keep telling me it's 'in transit.' This is unacceptable.
CS Rep: I am very sorry to hear about this frustrating experience. Let me look up your order. I see the tracking hasn't updated, and I sincerely apologize for the automated responses you've received.
Customer: I don't want apologies, I want my money. It's been over a month. I've used other services like Zenni before and never had this problem. Just process the refund.
CS Rep: I completely understand. I am processing a full refund for you right now. Please note it can take 7-10 business days to appear in your account.
Customer: Another 7 to 10 days? You took my money instantly, but I have to wait that long to get it back for an order you never delivered. This is just terrible customer service.
